Webinar: A Plan To Track Faculty Development
Moderator Anthony E. Johnson, MD, FAOA, will facilitate a discussion about implementation and development of a plan to track faculty development. AOA CORD members receive a reduced registration fee.

  • Moderator COL Anthony E. Johnson, MD, FAOA, FACS is the former Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the San Antonio Military Medical Center and Custodian of the Military Orthopaedic Trauma Registry. Dr. Johnson has been an AOA member since 2016 and is a Past-President of the Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons and current Co-Chair of the International Scientific Congress on Disaster Response and Preparedness.

    COL Patrick M. Osborn, MD, FAOA is the current program director of the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium (SAUSHEC) Orthopaedic Residency Program. Dr. Osborn leads the largest orthopaedic training program in the Department of Defense which includes the US Army – Baylor University Doctorate of Clinical Sciences Program for Orthopaedic Physician Assistants. He has been an AOA member since 2017 with a research interest in competency based education.

    Kimberly M. Brown, MD, FACS is the Associate Chair of Education in the Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care at the Dell Medical School – University of Texas – Austin. Dr. Brown’s research interests include simulation-based training and healthcare education innovation.

    COL David G. Bell, MD, FACP, FAASM is currently the Director of Graduate Medical Education, Brooke Army Medical Center as well as Associate Dean of the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium.
