2019 AOA Award nominations open until December 10, 2018
Each year, AOA members award special recognition to some of their select and renown peers. Designed to foster leadership within orthopaedics and recognize role models, the AOA presents two awards to recognize an AOA member's personal achievement and contributions to orthopaedics. Awards are presented during the AOA Annual Leadership Meetings.
Please review the criteria and nominate individuals that you believe meet the qualifications for each award.
Distinguished Clinician Educator Award:
The AOA Distinguished Clinician Educator Award recognizes an AOA member as an exceptional orthopaedic clinician educator. The award emphasizes the critical role that clinician educators play within academic health centers, where state-of-the-art educational programs demand faculty devoted to training medical students, graduate students, residents and other health professionals.
