About the Presenters:

Regis J. O'Keefe, MD, PhD, FAOA is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Orthopaedics at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. O'Keefe has been an AOA member since 1998 and President of the AOA, with his installation occurring June 2017. Dr. O'Keefe's extensive publications can be found here.

Jonathan Schoenecker, MD, PhD, FAOA is a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. He has a strong interest in defining the integrated role of coagulation and orthopaedics. His research has been refined by years of surgical training in musculoskeletal diseases in combination with basic science training in coagulation and bone biology. He has been an AOA member since 2015.
